Agus Young ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski got control of the ball when M. Agus Young tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tadeusz Raschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Grasshoppers Klucze from getting a goal against them. Santa Lucia de Merlo's attentive Hernan Louis managed to snatch the ball when Ryszard Adamowicz made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. M. Agus Young received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tanek Bielejewski came out and tried to block the shot, but M. Agus Young slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Grasshoppers Klucze's Ryszard Adamowicz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nils Myhr, made in the 21st minute of the game. Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper couldn't reach when M. Agus Young 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Tadeusz Raschke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Santa Lucia de Merlo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Arnaldo Chano hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Santa Lucia de Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Nils Myhr. After 40 minutes of play, Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Herauso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and M. Agus Young made a kick off. Tanek Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from M. Agus Young in the 53rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers M. Agus Young in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Bielejewski saved Grasshoppers Klucze from getting behind. M. Agus Young charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed M. Agus Young the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Santa Lucia de Merlo getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. M. Agus Young hit a great ball. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Polo Quinteros replaced M. Agus Young. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Levan Poggenborg was substituted for Ermegildo Salamon. After a rather tough play, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Tadeusz Raschke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute Tadeusz Raschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Grasshoppers Klucze booed when Santa Lucia de Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 80th match minute, Santa Lucia de Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Chano to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes in the game Sergio Berdaitz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Doctor Paredes. In the 93rd minute, Polo Quinteros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Arnaldo Chano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pedro Ferdinand, made in the 96th minute of the game. Tanek Bielejewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Santa Lucia de Merlo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
