The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cats and dogs's Joe Camp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Cats and dogs from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Roch Felenak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joe Camp, 1-0. Joe Camp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roch Felenak in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roch Felenak got free with Joe Camp in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the game, Gianluca Prestin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joe Camp. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaétan Bouchard in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gaétan Bouchard hit a great ball. When Yves Leite came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the La Pointe Courte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yves Leite couldn't finish the play. Joe Camp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Leite in the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the La Pointe Courte defense, Gaétan Bouchard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jolan Galindo. The La Pointe Courte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jolan Galindo should have stopped the shot. La Pointe Courte's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
