Jonathan Sammut started the match with the kick off. Qin Shi Le could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but André Courtois made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Templars FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Charlie Chaplin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Apelqvist in the 14th minute of the match. Charlie Chaplin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Sammut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Marques scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charlie Chaplin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Qin Shi Le could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but André Courtois made a huge save. Charlie Chaplin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Apelqvist in the 27th minute of play. André Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qin Shi Le, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qin Shi Le in the 38th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper André Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Väckelsång IK's Charlie Chaplin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Apelqvist in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Templars FC booed when Väckelsång IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Paenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qin Shi Le made a kick off. Jonathan Sammut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qin Shi Le in the 54th minute of play. A hard shot 57 in the game by Jonathan Sammut from a close distance when the talented Charlie Chaplin managed to make a qualified save. Väckelsång IK's players were relieved. Charlie Chaplin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Jonathan Sammut reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charlie Chaplin. The goal made the score 1-2. Staffan Apelqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Chaplin having to interfere. Väckelsång IK's Charlie Chaplin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Väckelsång IK from getting a goal against them. When Väckelsång IK's Lars Norström in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Templars FC's goalie prevented a goal. Templars FC's Márk Kovács got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Márk Kovács could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Charlie Chaplin made a huge save. Väckelsång IK's Lars Norström got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Márk Kovács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Chaplin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Templars FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
