The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Danel got free with Ruslan Rúklyov in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, CSKA-LULIN's 钱潮天 got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ruslan Rúklyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Danel in the 14th minute of play. The corner led to CSKA-LULIN's Han Chao Sang getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. CSKA-LULIN's Vitomir Starokin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denimir Tzonkov in the 24th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Denimir Tzonkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitomir Starokin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Jacinto in the 35th minute of play forced VN BAKITO's goalkeeper Ruslan Rúklyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruslan Rúklyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Danel in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, VN BAKITO's goal looked a bit too open when Han Chao Sang came free, but Ruslan Rúklyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
