The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Luis Bonet took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pankracy Glogowski to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Daustad's Peng Song Ting slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pankracy Glogowski. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Jo Øverås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Abreu in the 12th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Alfonso Goicoechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bonet in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Daustad got a corner. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mats Bentsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peng Song Ting was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Bonet in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28thth minute of the game Luis Bonet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Bonet got free with Pankracy Glogowski in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Luis Bonet took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Pankracy Glogowski to make any attempt to save it. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peng Song Ting in the 32nd minute of play. Daustad were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mats Bentsen took the corner. Jo Øverås showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Bonet. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mugur Chiriac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Luis Bonet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daustad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Bonet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugur Chiriac got free with Jo Øverås in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bonet in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Chiriac to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute of the match Daustad got a corner. Pankracy Glogowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daustad. In the 93rd minute, Emil Chwalkiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Daustad players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
