Matthew Wagner went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Matthew Wagner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena did a great save. Erlantz Bermejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Belo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Belo Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Zvonimir Prestin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurino Serena was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. A.D.
