Fesport FC's Marta Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Erserman in the 21st minute of play. He Chen Yong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Anton Björnberg made a huge save. Marta Rey came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman. But to his dismay, Rickard Erserman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marta Rey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rickard Erserman's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Senna was the one to do the kick off. Florencio Jax kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Fesport FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Casado to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Rickard Erserman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Chillán's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Erserman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marta Rey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo was substituted for Rickard Erserman. Inter de Chillán made a substitution. Marcel Wassermayer replaced Chen Feng Jian. In the 63rd minute, Constantino Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, Fesport FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by He Chen Yong to maneuver through the defense. Eladio Araujo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marta Rey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Fesport FC's Gong Chao Feng was substituted for Artur Senna. Anton Björnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Chao Feng in the 75th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Gong Chao Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fesport FC booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernán Chiquillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fesport FC's Gong Chao Feng in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Inter de Chillán supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Inter de Chillán would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
