Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) SK Fenerbahce Wien's Alexandros Matsinopoulos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chris Draxl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brage Thorbjørnsen in the 11th minute of play forced Vęgoria Team's goalkeeper Bogdan Pilarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chris Draxl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vaggelis Pavlidis took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chris Draxl. Chris Draxl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Pavlidis came free, but Chris Draxl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by SK Fenerbahce Wien's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emre Demir was slow to take the kick. During this time Vęgoria Team's players had a chance to rest. In the 24th minute, Thodoris Charalambakis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Chris Draxl came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Vęgoria Team's Vaggelis Pavlidis. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Pavlidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 31 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Pavlidis notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of SK Fenerbahce Wien's Chris Draxl. Chris Draxl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chris Draxl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 39th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Pavlidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Chris Draxl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute Vaggelis Pavlidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Draxl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lu Jun Yin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Vaggelis Pavlidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Roland-Nicolas Hertz was substituted for Phillip Hörholdt. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vaggelis Pavlidis to make the kick off. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Chris Draxl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save SK Fenerbahce Wien from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, SK Fenerbahce Wien's Robin Ivanschitz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Robin Ivanschitz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SK Fenerbahce Wien protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Robin Ivanschitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 56th minute, one of SK Fenerbahce Wien:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SK Fenerbahce Wien. Vaggelis Pavlidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chris Draxl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Vaggelis Pavlidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chris Draxl was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chris Draxl, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bogdan Pilarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thodoris Charalambakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's goal looked a bit too open when Thodoris Charalambakis came free, but Bogdan Pilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SK Fenerbahce Wien made a substitution. Ixaka Boher replaced Nereo Rik. Vęgoria Team made a substitution. Roman Sierocki replaced Vaggelis Pavlidis. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Thodoris Charalambakis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bogdan Pilarski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chris Draxl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roman Sierocki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 84 minute of play. Roman Sierocki took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chris Draxl. Chris Draxl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vęgoria Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
