Sandu Cigu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augustin Balint went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Martin Poenaru got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Augustin Balint's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandu Cigu was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Sandu Cigu made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Augustin Balint sent off a good shot on target. Eric Cobzeanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sandu Cigu came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Cobzeanu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 80th minute.
