In the 4th minute Gwidon Cwojdak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemmy Stecher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Willmann in the 5th minute of play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Cruzeiro Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Lemmy Stecher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Saron in the 16th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Lysander Schütt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lysander Schütt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lysander Schütt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Cruzeiro Esporte Clube a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wanderson Bezerra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Lemmy Stecher. 1-1. 余永川's late challenge caught a 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 余永川 helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jürgen Fackler in the 21st minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Bufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jürgen Fackler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Werner Mazur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lemmy Stecher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Cwojdak to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Marcus Willmann made a precise shot to the right of Arthur Bufi. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, Marcus Willmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arthur Bufi, 3-1. Arthur Bufi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Willmann's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Jürgen Fackler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Bufi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
In the 52nd minute, Enrique de Mendonça reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lemmy Stecher. The goal made the score 3-2. In the 61st match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gong Fan to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Herman Olsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Bufi. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herman Olsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Fackler in the 64th minute of play. Cristi Saron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Lemmy Stecher made a huge save. Rudolf Ramsauer hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Rudolf Ramsauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Willmann in the 77th minute of play. In the 89th minute Jürgen Fackler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Bufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Wanderson Bezerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz the free kick. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz made a substitution. Rupert Glemser replaced Jürgen Fackler. A collision led to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Wanderson Bezerra hit a great ball. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
