Amirul Seah started the match with the kick off. Alan Abisheganaden hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Botley City's Azam Au played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abhinandin Dass in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Abhinandin Dass managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mungira Police's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abhinandin Dass was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Azam Au took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abhinandin Dass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Amirul Seah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Apindra Shetty was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Abhinandin Dass managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mungira Police's supporters rose to their feet, but Abhinandin Dass was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azam Au breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dhandapani Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mungira Police's zone, Amirul Seah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apindra Shetty came out of the goal and Amirul Seah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Abhinandin Dass managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mungira Police's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abhinandin Dass was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abhinandin Dass in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azam Au saved Botley City from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Abhinandin Dass's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Azam Au was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Apindra Shetty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amirul Seah in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Alexander Ching hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abhinandin Dass in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azam Au saved Botley City from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Amirul Seah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amirul Seah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abhinandin Dass to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Abhinandin Dass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azam Au saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute Katriyar Bhuppal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azam Au saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Alan Abisheganaden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mungira Police's Apindra Shetty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abhinandin Dass fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azam Au having to interfere. Farhan Choo took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apindra Shetty. Apindra Shetty dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Azam Au showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Katriyar Bhuppal in the 84th minute of the match. Amirul Seah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apindra Shetty having to interfere. The Botley City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
