Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Abhinandin Dass started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Leonard Bulgar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jasavanta Sangma during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mungira Police getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jasavanta Sangma hit a great ball. Mungira Police's Katriyar Bhuppal got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Aurel Iovulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varciorog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mungira Police the free kick. In the 18th minute Silviu Oproiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apindra Shetty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes, Devasakti Mittal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mungira Police and the Varciorog players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Horea Iorda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mungira Police's Apindra Shetty didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Katriyar Bhuppal in the 24th minute of play forced Varciorog's goalkeeper Marin Negrilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Katriyar Bhuppal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Marin Negrilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Abhinandin Dass had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marin Negrilă. Varciorog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abhinandin Dass was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Mungira Police's Abhinandin Dass sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marin Negrilă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octav Toacsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apindra Shetty having to interfere. Marin Negrilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Katriyar Bhuppal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Varciorog's Marin Negrilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abhinandin Dass in the 38th minute of play. George Corbea hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Mungira Police's Jasavanta Sangma got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Jasavanta Sangma off the ground. Jasavanta Sangma hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. If Katriyar Bhuppal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Apindra Shetty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Oproiu in the 53rd minute of play. Katriyar Bhuppal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Devasakti Mittal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marin Negrilă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Katriyar Bhuppal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marin Negrilă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Silviu Oproiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marin Negrilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devasakti Mittal in the 66th minute of play. Katriyar Bhuppal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Negrilă having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Mungira Police's Abhinandin Dass sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marin Negrilă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, Varciorog's Silviu Oproiu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apindra Shetty was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Katriyar Bhuppal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marin Negrilă made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Katriyar Bhuppal sent off a good shot on target. If Devasakti Mittal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Katriyar Bhuppal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Varciorog's zone, Abhinandin Dass stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marin Negrilă came out of the goal and Abhinandin Dass tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varciorog's goalkeeper Marin Negrilă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play Varciorog's Aurel Iovulescu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 90th minute, Katriyar Bhuppal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mungira Police fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After some careless play in the Varciorog defense, Katriyar Bhuppal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marin Negrilă. The Varciorog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marin Negrilă should have stopped the shot. Mungira Police's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
