The crowd rose to their feet as Gülsehir FK's İbrahim Ethem Durali slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marin Negrilă. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. İsmet İren kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. İbrahim Ethem Durali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Marin Negrilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Gülsehir FK booed when Varciorog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Iovulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Coşkun Eronat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Negrilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İsmet İren charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İbrahim Ethem Durali couldn't finish the play.
