The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sune Kellberg in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilvan Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sune Kellberg's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes Pattaya Dolphins F.C got a freekick which was hit by Harald Klack. Ulisses Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Witalis Merski made a huge save. In the 8th minute, one of Green Squad FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Green Squad FC. The referee gave Pattaya Dolphins F.C a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sune Kellberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches. 0-1. When Frans Galle fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pattaya Dolphins F.C's protests and gave Frans Galle a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when Pattaya Dolphins F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Galle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Tadeu Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witalis Merski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sune Kellberg got free in front of the goal in the 15th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gilvan Sanches was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Pattaya Dolphins F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jessie Pinkman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Sune Kellberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilvan Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pattaya Dolphins F.C were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Green Squad FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl-Michael Hammarbäck took the corner. Gilvan Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sune Kellberg's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Green Squad FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Michael Hammarbäck was slow to take the kick. During this time Pattaya Dolphins F.C's players had a chance to rest. Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Harald Klack was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilvan Sanches in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 25 minutes into the game, Harald Klack cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gilvan Sanches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Kellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Green Squad FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Pattaya Dolphins F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrado Pernambucano took the corner. The corner led Green Squad FC's Gonçalo Maia to fire away a dangerous shot which Witalis Merski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Green Squad FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pattaya Dolphins F.C were winning 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sune Kellberg to make the kick off. If Thomas Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pattaya Dolphins F.C getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Claes Örnberg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Mikael Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pattaya Dolphins F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Olsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pattaya Dolphins F.C booed when Green Squad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Ahlstedt hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Sune Kellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Pernambucano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Witalis Merski having to make a save. Witalis Merski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes of play, Green Squad FC's Tadeu Cosme made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Witalis Merski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulisses Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witalis Merski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Cosme in the 74th minute of play forced Pattaya Dolphins F.C's goalkeeper Witalis Merski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sune Kellberg. 77 minutes into the match, Tadeu Cosme notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Witalis Merski. Witalis Merski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sune Kellberg came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Pattaya Dolphins F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sune Kellberg couldn't finish the play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Sune Kellberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Sune Kellberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Witalis Merski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jessie Pinkman in the 91st minute of play. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Kellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Lucas Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Sune Kellberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilvan Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Green Squad FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
