In the 4thth minute of the game Mugur Chiriac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Alfonso Goicoechea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Frederico Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Erramu to maneuver through the defense. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Laureano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Claveau in the 11th minute of the match. Frederico Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Goicoechea's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Alfonso Goicoechea put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Frederico Madureira. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Claveau in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the game Emil Chwalkiewicz made a throw-in which Lázaro Cuartio played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 20th minute of play forced Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes Mochila FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Chwalkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. Emil Chwalkiewicz made a great header on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner, it was just that Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira managed to reach the ball for a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Chiriac couldn't finish the play. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Claveau in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Alfonso Goicoechea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Goicoechea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Anfilogino Genovese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Frederico Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Alfonso Goicoechea made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederico Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute Anfilogino Genovese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugur Chiriac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Anfilogino Genovese notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mugur Chiriac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Genovese came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Frederico Madureira managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Club Atlético Atlanta's Mugur Chiriac fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Laureano in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Genovese came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mugur Chiriac in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Madureira saved Mochila FC from getting behind. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Club Atlético Atlanta's Mugur Chiriac in the 66th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Frederico Madureira was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mochila FC through an amazing save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benigno Abreu during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Mugur Chiriac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Chiriac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Mochila FC from getting a goal against them. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Laureano in the 73rd minute of play. Mugur Chiriac took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederico Madureira. Frederico Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Genovese, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute Mugur Chiriac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anfilogino Genovese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Madureira made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mugur Chiriac sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Bart Claveau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's Mugur Chiriac sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frederico Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugur Chiriac's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Claveau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederico Madureira made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Mugur Chiriac sent off a good shot on target. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
