The supporters of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ booed when Blumenau Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xandinho Sharkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 13 in the game by Yin Wei Yi from a close distance when the talented Luiz Fábio Leite managed to make a qualified save. Blumenau Esporte Clube's players were relieved. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Luiz Fábio Leite successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 18 minutes into the game, Pablo Innocenzio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Luiz Fábio Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedicto Ireno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bin Shevchenko's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Benedicto Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Luiz Fábio Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yin Wei Yi in the 31st minute. The throw-in from Xandinho Sharkin in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Jeremias Felo. The throw-in from Cristo Karlo in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko. 38 minutes into the match, Bin Shevchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedicto Ireno. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bin Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yin Wei Yi got free with Luiz Fábio Leite in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xandinho Sharkin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Albino Baladi got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Bin Shevchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benedicto Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bin Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 58th minute of play forced C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Benedicto Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Wei Yi in the 60th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Bin Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Ireno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Teodosio Montes was substituted for Yin Wei Yi. 77 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Bin Shevchenko came free, but Benedicto Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bin Shevchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fábio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bin Shevchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 95 minutes into the game, Xandinho Sharkin threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Jeremias Felo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cristo Karlo hit a great ball. The Blumenau Esporte Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Blumenau Esporte Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
