Spectators: 48 (Terracing: 37, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) FC CSKA's Ahmet Refik Ülgü started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Daustad's He Jing got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ahmet Refik Ülgü blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jo Øverås having to make a save. In the 8th minute Ahmet Refik Ülgü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Bonet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georgi Velinov having to make a save. Georgi Velinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC CSKA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mats Bentsen was slow to take the kick. During this time Daustad's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Mats Bentsen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov did a great save. In the 30th minute of the match FC CSKA got a corner. Daustad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Georgi Dimitrov ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Peng Song Ting came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Daustad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peng Song Ting couldn't finish the play. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Bonet in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

FC CSKA's Arnulfo Roderigo was substituted for Téo Vieira. FC CSKA's Asparuh Genovski was substituted for Ronaldinho de Carvalho. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Roderigo in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute Arnulfo Roderigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Are Rygg in the 76th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Luis Bonet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Georgi Velinov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jo Øverås made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Georgi Dimitrov sent off a good shot on target. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todor Yanchev in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Daustad booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley de Nooijer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Bradley de Nooijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC CSKA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Daustad.
