Michael Götze kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ovidio Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Schäfer in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fabian Magath's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Bremicker was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Ovidio Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Schäfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute Fabian Magath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Bremicker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakov Stähr, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. PoWer SC 2K5's supporters rose to their feet, but Killian Fischer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Bremicker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PoWer SC 2K5's Ovidio Ritchie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save PoWer SC 2K5 from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakov Stähr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sydney FC booed when PoWer SC 2K5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Harri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sydney FC's Michael Bremicker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Magath in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakov Stähr in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Ritchie saved PoWer SC 2K5 from getting behind. In the 92nd minute of the match, Killian Fischer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michael Bremicker saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Frank Ehrgott kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Sydney FC booed when PoWer SC 2K5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Klose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of PoWer SC 2K5's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. PoWer SC 2K5 may have spent more time on the ball, but Sydney FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
