When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolland Sallai made a kick off. With a little luck, FV Wienerwald's Norman-Alexander Wellmann got control of the ball when Enrico Schmedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. booed when FV Wienerwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Diel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burkhard Schlick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Norman-Alexander Wellmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
