In the 21stth minute of the game Alain Berset who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buffalo Bills's Ulli Hartwig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gregor Kobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frerk Hentschel in the 26th minute of the match. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Hjeltman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nino Schurter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulli Hartwig having to interfere. With a little luck, Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel got control of the ball when Ricart Mendiguren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulli Hartwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Berset in the 39th minute of play. Gregor Kobel came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Bills's Alfred Wieczorek. But to his dismay, Alfred Wieczorek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 63 minutes Buffalo Bills's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Williams Imholz who took care of the corner kick. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Rogelio Montez replaced Alain Berset. Espen Steelers's attentive Federico Abud managed to snatch the ball when Adalbert Jantzen made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Buffalo Bills's goalkeeper Ulli Hartwig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Montez. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Buffalo Bills's goalkeeper Ulli Hartwig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricart Mendiguren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulli Hartwig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Espen Steelers's Rogelio Montez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Rogelio Montez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulli Hartwig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Buffalo Bills's Ulli Hartwig got control of the ball when Rogelio Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Montez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ulli Hartwig made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Montez in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulli Hartwig saved Buffalo Bills from getting behind. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Wieczorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Rogelio Montez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulli Hartwig. Rogelio Montez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The Espen Steelers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Espen Steelers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
