Gottlieb Hammer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jess Carnduff made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Thomas Müller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alemannia Aachen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 23rd match minute, Balus Treter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob van der Werff to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Alemannia Aachen's corner Frans Baltzer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karsten Zielinski quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Alemannia Aachen's 鲁剑建 got a free kick in the 38th minute. Karsten Zielinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Müller in the 41st minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Ntinos Karsiotis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alemannia Aachen's Louis Leißner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ntinos Karsiotis charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ntinos Karsiotis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alemannia Aachen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balus Treter the free kick. Gottlieb Hammer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jess Carnduff having to make a save. Thomas Müller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karsten Zielinski having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Gottlieb Hammer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jess Carnduff. Alemannia Aachen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gottlieb Hammer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alemannia Aachen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
