Fc Schönhagen's Loris Groß got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marc Fontagnier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chen Zhen got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ödön Szily. In the 24th minute Junior Grajdeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Lunin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Fontagnier came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Ödön Szily. But to his dismay, Ödön Szily quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marc Fontagnier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Elodio's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Loris Groß had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andriy Lunin. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loris Groß was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If David Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Schönhagen's Kai Frei landed with the leg in an unnatural angle after a tough challenge. The leg was fractured. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ödön Szily during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fc Schönhagen's Nestor Firman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Toralf Hell, made in the 56th minute of the game. In the 60th minute David Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Fontagnier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rouven Bernhauer made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Ödön Szily. In the 71st minute of the match SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a corner. Fc Schönhagen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Toralf Hell ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 72nd match minute, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Melber to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute of the match, Loris Groß tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andriy Lunin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
