Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredo Ladio took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Björck. Torgny Hamnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Marko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Filomeno Marko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Torgny Hamnberg, 1-0. In the 9th minute Alfredo Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Súľovský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torgny Hamnberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filomeno Marko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Ladio in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mário Súľovský saved Estudiantes de La Plata from getting behind. Torgny Hamnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Marko, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The Estudiantes de La Plata fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Estudiantes de La Plata's Filomeno Marko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25th match minute, Estudiantes de La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Evarado to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Atilano Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mário Súľovský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torgny Hamnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Marko in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobrin Phoenix to maneuver through the defense. Torgny Hamnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Di Paola, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Juventus FC's Torgny Hamnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Sotil in the 40th minute of play. Florentino Rodas came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Torgny Hamnberg could save by the left post. Torgny Hamnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filomeno Marko's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Estudiantes de La Plata's Rogelio Oroitz was substituted for Rogelio Sotil. Estudiantes de La Plata's Antonio Cassano was substituted for Eugenio Gartzea. Filomeno Marko took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torgny Hamnberg. Torgny Hamnberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 64 minutes, Joel Barco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de La Plata and the Juventus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de La Plata's Joel Barco got a free kick in the 64th minute. Torgny Hamnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Oroitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Juventus FC's Mário Súľovský threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredo Ladio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Marko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torgny Hamnberg was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Alfredo Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmine Di Paola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torgny Hamnberg having to interfere. Alfredo Ladio might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mário Súľovský. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Ladio ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Estudiantes de La Plata getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Florentino Rodas hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Rogelio Oroitz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Juventus FC's Torgny Hamnberg. Torgny Hamnberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredo Ladio kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Marko came free, but Torgny Hamnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmine Di Paola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Estudiantes de La Plata players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
