That made the score 2-0 after 48 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Lion Messi made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Caradaro got free with Dibag Martinez in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Paolo Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Giovani Lo Celso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lion Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Scaloneta's Ángel-Fabián Di María was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pankracy Glogowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Enzo Fernández kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in La Scaloneta's zone, Marcos Berdoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dibag Martinez came out of the goal and Marcos Berdoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Berdoi struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Dibag Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. La Scaloneta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
