An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Fowler in the 10th minute of play forced Husaria Tarnów's goalkeeper Radoslaw Olchowy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radoslaw Olchowy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robbie Fowler's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Robbie Fowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Olchowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Robbie Fowler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radoslaw Olchowy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Robbie Fowler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radoslaw Olchowy. In the 44th minute Robbie Fowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Olchowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbie Fowler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Radoslaw Olchowy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Husaria Tarnów players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manly FC were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robbie Fowler made a kick off. Husaria Tarnów's Radoslaw Olchowy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Husaria Tarnów from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Florian Obarenes sped through Manly FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sydney Ross. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Husaria Tarnów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Czaplicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Manly FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
