Raúl Chaparro hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Tobias Urtzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makis Tselementes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aris Voutsas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Daníel Islas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Makis Tselementes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Corderun in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Stratigakis to maneuver through the defense. Vassilis Banasidis hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tobias Urtzi sped through ΠΑΟΚ FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Makis Tselementes. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Stratos Tzolis got a free kick in the 51st minute. Vassilis Banasidis's late challenge caught a Belfegor FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vassilis Banasidis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Stratos Tzolis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belfegor FC's Leandro Lazaro was substituted for Tobias Urtzi. After 63 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Tzolis. After 64 played minutes, Belfegor FC's Freddy Corderun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Makis Tselementes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belfegor FC reached it. In the 65th minute Raúl Chaparro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makis Tselementes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Makis Tselementes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Chaparro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Chaparro in the 78th minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Makis Tselementes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Belfegor FC's Makis Tselementes threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlo Magno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Vassilis Banasidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Makis Tselementes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Lazaro. Vassilis Banasidis struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Daníel Islas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΠΑΟΚ FC. Makis Tselementes made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Leandro Lazaro sent off a good shot on target.
