The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Phelipe to make the kick off. Uriel Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koen Vrede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pegaso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gerjan Staarman was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Wissenkerke's players had a chance to rest. SV Wissenkerke's Gerjan Staarman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Uriel Orland in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerjan Staarman in the 93rd minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Uriel Orland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SV Wissenkerke players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
