After 4 minutes of play, Racing Club's Antonio Ubarna made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Vaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonio Ubarna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Greenboys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Dalgren came free, but Danilo Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Racing Club's Ivan Flor in the 23rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Danilo Vaz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Greenboys FC through an amazing save. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Danilo Vaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Danilo Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 32nd minute of the match. Sven-Edvin Dalgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Vaz having to make a save. Danilo Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Ubarna in the 45th minute. Renátó Tar's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renátó Tar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Greenboys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renátó Tar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 47th minute of play forced Greenboys FC's goalkeeper Danilo Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Edvin Dalgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Greenboys FC's zone, Antonio Ubarna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Vaz came out of the goal and Antonio Ubarna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Antonio Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Füzesi came free, but Francisco Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Zsolt Füzesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Dalgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Vaz. Greenboys FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Edvin Dalgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 70th minute, Antonio Ubarna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some careless play in the Greenboys FC defense, Sven-Edvin Dalgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Vaz. The Greenboys FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Vaz should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Sven-Edvin Dalgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Lucian Triboi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Greenboys FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Lucian Triboi got a free kick in the 84th minute. Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 86th minute of play. Grzegorz Krychowiak hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Greenboys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Ubarna came free, but Danilo Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Greenboys FC for a fine match.
