Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Corderro to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Eloy Dimas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raimundo Burutzagi's late challenge caught a Trinchera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Burutzagi helped the player get up and apologised. Raimundo Burutzagi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Trinchera FC made a substitution. Lino Illart replaced Mariano Corderro. The score was now 1-1. 89 minutes into the match, Trinchera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Mede came free, but Herminio Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herminio Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Hegoi Griful almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo did a great save. Cha Fe FC played a much better game than Trinchera FC and deserved their victory. The Trinchera FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
