Herminio Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Herminio Roderigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the match, Celedonio Eguntsenti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evelio Salvadore. C.A.Esparta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Eguntsenti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Evelio Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Corderro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Trinchera FC defense, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Roderigo. The Trinchera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Roderigo should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo got control of the ball when Marcos Acuña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Orlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Roderigo having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Trinchera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Berenguer to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Tiburcio Guillelmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Trinchera FC's zone, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Roderigo came out of the goal and Sven-Hendrik Ohmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Trinchera FC's Prudencio Matxin got a free kick in the 41st minute. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Herminio Roderigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Esparta. When Prudencio Matxin fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinchera FC's protests and gave Prudencio Matxin a yellow card for diving instead. Prudencio Matxin kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Hendrik Ohmer made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 52nd minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trinchera FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiburcio Guillelmo was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A.Esparta's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Trinchera FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mariano Corderro hit a great ball. Herminio Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's Oswaldo Junior sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herminio Roderigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evelio Salvadore made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Eloy Dimas sent off a good shot on target. After 67 minutes C.A.Esparta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Celio who took care of the corner kick. Roque Pero made a great header on Trinchera FC's corner, it was just that C.A.Esparta's Evelio Salvadore managed to reach the ball for a save. Herminio Roderigo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Esparta's Oswaldo Junior. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Junior quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 74 minutes into the game, Mariano Corderro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trinchera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Esparta the free kick. Mariano Corderro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Herminio Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trinchera FC made a substitution. Lino Illart replaced Mariano Corderro. In the 83rd minute, Dionisio Berenguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of C.A.Esparta booed when Trinchera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Niguel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Illart charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Illart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Trinchera FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A.Esparta:s goal. Filip Wawrukiewicz shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 93rd minute, Oswaldo Junior ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Roderigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 99th minute, Lino Illart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A.Esparta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
