The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

C.A.Esparta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Ismael Jerrold scored to the left of an out of position Evelio Salvadore, making the score, 2-1. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Imperio Académico! In the 59th minute Sven-Hendrik Ohmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Clis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Hendrik Ohmer's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The C.A.Esparta fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Imperio Académico made a substitution. Marcelino Quexal replaced Charilaos Bogdanos. C.A.Esparta made a substitution. Oswaldo Junior replaced Sven-Hendrik Ohmer. After 77 played minutes Imperio Académico got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Quiroga. Jesus Quiroga hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Junior in the 79th minute of play forced Imperio Académico's goalkeeper Adrian Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Jesus Quiroga threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.A.Esparta's Tiburcio Guillelmo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 83rd minute, Rikard Albohm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, C.A.Esparta could leave the field as winners, despite Imperio Académico having more of the ball for most of the match.
