The audience thought a goal was coming when Sulo Montaña got free with Eddy Luirink in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sulo Montaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Eddy Luirink made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯紫禁之巅's zone, Sulo Montaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddy Luirink came out of the goal and Sulo Montaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Marc Bouman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes LOI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustaw Fudalej who took care of the corner kick. ≮王者归来≯紫禁之巅's Gustaw Fudalej was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but George Buturugã in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of ≮王者归来≯紫禁之巅 booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaan Öztanır didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯紫禁之巅's zone, Özgür Özbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddy Luirink came out of the goal and Özgür Özbay tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 41st match minute, ≮王者归来≯紫禁之巅 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 姚杰永 to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgür Özbay got free with Eddy Luirink in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Sulo Montaña made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, LOI's Ahmet Hamdi Ortan got a free kick in the 50th minute. After some careless play in the LOI defense, Marc Bouman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Buturugã. The LOI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Buturugã should have stopped the shot. Eddy Luirink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 55th minute of play. George Buturugã made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Bouman in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Fetih Avcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Buturugã acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gustaw Fudalej. 64 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯紫禁之巅's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Eddy Luirink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sulo Montaña took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddy Luirink.
