With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emrullah Toygun in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slobodan Ravelli saved Orzeł Dąbie from getting behind. Slobodan Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçen Kulan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Emrullah Toygun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slobodan Ravelli having to interfere. Slobodan Ravelli came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Emrullah Toygun. But to his dismay, Emrullah Toygun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Paco Zamora got control of the ball when Mabud Levy tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by GALATASARAY O.Z.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olaf Oleszak was slow to take the kick. During this time Orzeł Dąbie's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Olaf Oleszak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Paco Zamora did a great save. Slobodan Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emrullah Toygun in the 25th minute of play. If Emrullah Toygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paco Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Kochowski in the 29th minute of play. Orzeł Dąbie's Slobodan Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emrullah Toygun in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Brice Riise got a free kick in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gökçen Kulan sped through Orzeł Dąbie's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Slobodan Ravelli. The supporters of GALATASARAY O.Z. booed when Orzeł Dąbie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mabud Levy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Câmpeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Gökçen Kulan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Slobodan Ravelli. The goal made the score 0-4. After 60 minutes, Gökçen Kulan made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Orzeł Dąbie's Slobodan Ravelli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Câmpeanu in the 65th minute of play forced GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goalkeeper Paco Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Orzeł Dąbie's goal looked a bit too open when Emrullah Toygun came free, but Slobodan Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paco Zamora was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Slobodan Ravelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gökçen Kulan in the 89th minute. Slobodan Ravelli made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Gökçen Kulan sent off a good shot on target. The GALATASARAY O.Z. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
