But to his dismay, Daren McCollum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lugano 1 y 2's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Junel in the 15th minute of play. When ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's King Junel in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Junel in the 34th minute of play forced Lugano 1 y 2's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Toro in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bono Chotov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Gilbert Michnik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Barovero. The goal made the score 1-2. After the first half Lugano 1 y 2 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when King Junel made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Leopoldo Isidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lugano 1 y 2 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lugano 1 y 2 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
