Santoryu FC's Grzegorz Grzelak got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinei Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Carnevale having to interfere. Daniele Bucciarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Grzelak, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Alberto Lusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Carnevale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Santoryu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Lazzaro to maneuver through the defense. Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Waselenczuk in the 17th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Santoryu FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Chale. Dinei Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercole Carnevale having to make a save. After 24 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Waselenczuk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Romano in the 25th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinei Fernandez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Ercole Carnevale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Teodoro Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Daniele Bucciarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Cesare Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alberto Lusi hit a great ball. Daniele Bucciarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Romano in the 36th minute of play. Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Grzelak in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Santoryu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Minicucci to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Dinei Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ercole Carnevale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale got control of the ball when Dinei Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinei Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Edoardo Pascucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Teodoro Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes, Merceron United's Milosz Waselenczuk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Merceron United reached it. Daniele Bucciarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Grzelak in the 66th minute of play. Merceron United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Milosz Waselenczuk in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli got control of the ball when Teodoro Chale tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute Alberto Lusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Carnevale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercole Carnevale having to make a save.
