The tension between the Esquadrão Lusitano and the Tasso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Esquadrão Lusitano got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Bouzas. Monte Lobato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Bouzas in the 23rd minute of play. Monte Lobato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Bouzas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Chu Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Damas having to interfere. Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Chu Tasso 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chu Tasso made a kick off. If Severiano Torcato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yavuzalp Eroğul got free with Monte Lobato in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Monte Lobato made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Rafael Bouzas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Pinto Valer got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The attack was good, but when 狄夕远 in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Esquadrão Lusitano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
