After a defensive mix-up in Degerfors IF's zone, Miromir Kasprzykowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Söderberg came out of the goal and Miromir Kasprzykowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Tomitak Wrocław's Remigiusz Kaczanka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Håkan Söderberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Zé Simões fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Degerfors IF's protests and gave Zé Simões a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Zé Simões hit a great ball. Miromir Kasprzykowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Söderberg having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Åke Fors who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tomitak Wrocław's Dobromir Gdowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 minutes, Tomas Kråk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Degerfors IF and the Tomitak Wrocław players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Tomas Kråk got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 30 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Åke Fors sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dobromir Gdowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Ludomir Szarmach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fredrik Isak fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Degerfors IF's protests and gave Fredrik Isak a yellow card for diving instead. Fredrik Isak kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Håkan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Rydzewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Degerfors IF's Philip Kihlman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ludomir Szarmach in the 40 minute of the game. A collision led to Tomitak Wrocław getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Pawel Juszkowski hit a great ball. Degerfors IF were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Tomitak Wrocław's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christian Håkansson took the corner. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miromir Kasprzykowski made a kick off. The throw-in from Walery Budzyn in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Degerfors IF's 孙树真. Miromir Kasprzykowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Håkan Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Kasprzykowski in the 61st minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Åke Fors. The supporters of Tomitak Wrocław booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Fors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Åke Fors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Gdowski having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tomitak Wrocław's Tomasz Zalipski got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Miromir Kasprzykowski came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Tomitak Wrocław fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Kasprzykowski couldn't finish the play. Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Zalipski in the 80th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Walery Budzyn in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Degerfors IF's Zé Simões. After 83 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Åke Fors. In the 84th minute Miromir Kasprzykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tomitak Wrocław getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Walery Budzyn hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Åke Fors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulryk Hyska kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Christian Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degerfors IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Håkansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Miromir Kasprzykowski came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Tomitak Wrocław fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Kasprzykowski couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
