Vítor Damas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Silveira's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The Jacuitiba - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Basílio Silveira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Mastur Bandov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Machado in the 15th minute of play. Vítor Damas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Silveira in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basílio Silveira in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Damas saved Esquadrão Lusitano from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Zarco Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Damas made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Basílio Silveira sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Ghițescu in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vítor Damas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mastur Bandov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Machado in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Basílio Silveira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas. Vítor Damas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Basílio Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Basílio Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Silveira came free, but Vítor Damas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Basílio Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Damas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Daniel Ghițescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cândido Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Cigaran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Mastur Bandov made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Passos came free, but Mastur Bandov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Silveira in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Silveira in the 67th minute of play forced Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Vítor Damas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mastur Bandov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cândido Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mastur Bandov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Cigaran in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Daniel Ghițescu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Esquadrão Lusitano's Rui Sá was substituted for Cândido Machado. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Basílio Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Esquadrão Lusitano's Rui Sá dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. 85 minutes into the game, Esquadrão Lusitano's Rui Sá nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mastur Bandov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
