Jordan F1 91-05's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronnie Peterson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunnar Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Dezassete getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alcides Valadares hit a great ball. After 23 minutes of play, Jordan F1 91-05's Gunnar Nilsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Fontoura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Fontoura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Nilsson in the 28th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, FC Dezassete's Alcides Valadares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max Dahlgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidoro Fontoura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Caneira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Nilsson in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Isidoro Fontoura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Gunnar Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jordan F1 91-05 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alcides Valadares made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Isidoro Fontoura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Jordan F1 91-05 booed when FC Dezassete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Ekaterinoslavskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gatis Caca-Rato to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Fontoura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Nilsson in the 64th minute. FC Dezassete's Isidoro Fontoura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dezassete from getting a goal against them. Nazeer Mhlathes short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Isidoro Fontoura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When %teams%'s Nazeer Mhlathe was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-6 just inside the left pole, 97 minutes into the game. Isidoro Fontoura was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Jordan F1 91-05's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
