Thanks to some nice moves Leonard Lewkowicz could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Carlos Germano however easily saved by the left post. 14 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Radomil Brack sent off a good shot on target. Leonard Lewkowicz was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. Sosnowiec's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Teobald Bronicki managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 37th minute, Edin Džeko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Sosnowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 40th minute, Huang Kun Jun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Germano was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Edin Džeko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edin Džeko really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 52nd minute of play. Wasyl Majdoch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Edin Džeko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Germano was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Edin Džeko scored 6-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Germano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edin Džeko in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Germano saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Edin Džeko struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Carlos Germano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Sosnowiec. Edin Džeko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Germano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Radomil Brack blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Germano having to make a save. After 79 minutes of play, F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kacper Tobiáš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Milian in the 86th minute of play. Carlos Germano came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko. But to his dismay, Edin Džeko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When the referee ended the match the F.C. Sosnowiec players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
