An unexpectedly hard shot by Denver Grimes in the 26th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Reconquistense FC defense, Junior Stover kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Argi. The Reconquistense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Argi should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Denver Grimes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Argi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Junior Stover took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Argi. Reynaldo Argi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. The Reconquistense FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Qikiqtarjuaq FC were winning 0-8.

With a little luck, Reconquistense FC's Reynaldo Argi got control of the ball when Junior Stover tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Moses Daniel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Jason Achin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Calvino in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Junior Stover nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo Argi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. 70 minutes into the match, Junior Stover had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Argi. In the 86th minute, Denver Grimes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-15.
