Gregorio Diagur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th match minute, F.C. Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edin Džeko to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Lucio Pancho in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by F.C. Sosnowiec's Iwan Cempa. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edin Džeko was the one to do the kick off. Carmelo Abeita charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Abeita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carmelo Abeita hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko, in the 65th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Sosnowiec. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Edin Džeko managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Sosnowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Edin Džeko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Diagur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Lucio Pancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in COSQUIN SFC's zone, Edin Džeko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Diagur came out of the goal and Edin Džeko tried to chip the ball over his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C. Sosnowiec had won after a very even match.
