Sosnowiec's Kacper Tobiáš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Berenguer in the 17th minute of play. When Konrad Hatman fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hahay's protests and gave Konrad Hatman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Blažej Ravanelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hahay's Delmar Berenguer in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Szczepan Pochorylo fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Sosnowiec's protests and gave Szczepan Pochorylo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to F.C. Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Szczepan Pochorylo hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Cempa. It was beautiful to see Hahay's Leonard Gardocki in action when he in the 61st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The supporters of Hahay booed when F.C. Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yu Sha Xu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Esbjörnsson. With a little luck, F.C. Sosnowiec's Kacper Tobiáš got control of the ball when Delmar Berenguer tried to sneak it across the goal line.
