The penalty shot was made by Alexandrino Bessa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jordan F1 91-05's Billy Ödman. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesualdo Sacramento in the 10th minute of play forced Jordan F1 91-05's goalkeeper Billy Ödman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Jordan F1 91-05 getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Stig-Ove Olsman hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Per Andberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Octávio Moita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ture Ahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Per Andberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jordan F1 91-05's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Andberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jens-Ola Fernkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ola Fernkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Honorato Calado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Öberg hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Octávio Moita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Andberg in the 45th minute of the match. Billy Ödman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesualdo Sacramento, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesualdo Sacramento to strike the kick off in the second half. Billy Ödman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesualdo Sacramento went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Stig-Ove Olsman kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Jesualdo Sacramento came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Billy Ödman could save by the left post. A collision led to Jordan F1 91-05 getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Stig-Ove Olsman hit a great ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Jens-Ola Fernkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jordan F1 91-05's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ola Fernkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Jordan F1 91-05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Öberg to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Jordan F1 91-05 booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teófilo Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Per Andberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octávio Moita was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. David Arenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octávio Moita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Arenberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The Jordan F1 91-05 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Braga's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Braga.
