Monico Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Kullgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes Fågelmara IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernabe Bazil who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Sergio Bertran managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Karl-Ove Kullgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Jan-Erik Brovall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fågelmara IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Monico Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Kullgren in the 20th minute of the match. John Granberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Haritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Fågelmara IK's Joar Kinell seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joar Kinell the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fågelmara IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joar Kinell had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. John Granberg had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Bernabe Bazil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball John Granberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernabe Bazil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Emanuel Mero hit a great ball. Per-Oskar Borre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Krister Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Monico Montoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krister Lundström in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Monico Montoya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute Krister Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monico Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monico Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Borre in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Elano Rotang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Big Babousa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fågelmara IK the free kick. Elano Rotang hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Lundström came free, but Monico Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Haritz to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Lundström in the 51st minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Monico Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Big Babousa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Inge to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Big Babousa booed when Fågelmara IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Österberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Krister Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Per-Oskar Borre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fågelmara IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Oskar Borre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th match minute, Fågelmara IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Skytt to maneuver through the defense. Fågelmara IK's Krister Lundström got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Big Babousa's zone, Per-Oskar Borre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monico Montoya came out of the goal and Per-Oskar Borre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Krister Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monico Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Lundström in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Krister Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monico Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Big Babousa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Bazil to maneuver through the defense. The Fågelmara IK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fågelmara IK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
