Altermundi FC's Rollo Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes of play, Academia 1903's Juan Estevez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Tomás Domimisse was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 21 played minutes Academia 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Uzuri. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Academia 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27th play minutes Julio Huaiquiman shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Vladimiro Osasun and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Altermundi FC's Aureo Ubeda got a free kick in the 30th minute. Julio Huaiquiman in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vladimiro Osasun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vladimiro Osasun made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Andolín Pumarino sent off a good shot on target. Israel Ibáñez struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Vladimiro Osasun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altermundi FC. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Huaiquiman to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Fariña in the 63rd minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Vladimiro Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Mateo Nalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Huaiquiman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Osasun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Aureliano Fariña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Osasun having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Julio Huaiquiman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altermundi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Huaiquiman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Juan Estevez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia 1903's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altermundi FC the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Rollo Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altermundi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Altermundi FC's Julio Huaiquiman got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Altermundi FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jose Alegría hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Aureliano Fariña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
