But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falcão Marques couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Gil dos Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luciano Carretero. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. With a little luck, Altermundi FC's Luciano Carretero got control of the ball when Falcão Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luciano Carretero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil dos Santos in the 73rd minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Luciano Carretero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Elear Pedemonte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF made a substitution. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermínio Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. Hermínio Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Elear Pedemonte fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altermundi FC's protests and gave Elear Pedemonte a yellow card for diving instead. Romildo Scheid's late challenge caught a Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romildo Scheid helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Altermundi FC's Romildo Scheid got a free kick in the 85th minute. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Altermundi FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafinha Sergipano took the corner. The corner led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's João Vítor Alves getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF played a much better game than Altermundi FC and deserved their victory. The Altermundi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
