When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Julio Huaiquiman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Martin Pasqua to make any attempt to save it. After 37 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Mandiola. If Julio Huaiquiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Altermundi FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lauro Arciego hit a great ball. Luciano Carretero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Riverol, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julio Huaiquiman made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Riverol came free, but Luciano Carretero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Altermundi FC's Abelardo Ortuzar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Chivos de Punto Fijo's Christopher Riverol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aureliano Fariña hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match.
