Fågelmara IK's John Granberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Lidman in the 14th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Xentrias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Joensson to maneuver through the defense. John Granberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Lidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksander Bank's late challenge caught a Fågelmara IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Lidman in the 46th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Göran Lidman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Granberg was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.
