Botafogo AP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heavenly Hooters the free kick. Gilmar de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Zamora in the 6th minute of play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Harold Lloyd sped through Botafogo AP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilmar de Mendonça. Botafogo AP's Gilmar de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Banks in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Harold Lloyd made a precise shot to the right of Gilmar de Mendonça. Botafogo AP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 24 minutes of play, Heavenly Hooters's Harold Lloyd made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilmar de Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilmar de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Zamora in the 27th minute of play. Gilmar de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harold Lloyd went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Gilmar de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Banks in the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harold Lloyd in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar de Mendonça saved Botafogo AP from getting behind. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Harold Lloyd sped through Botafogo AP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilmar de Mendonça. In the 40th minute, Max Langford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heavenly Hooters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 46 minutes into the game, Shawn Banks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Gilmar de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caco Matos made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's Max Langford sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilmar de Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ethan Zamora's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Gilmar de Mendonça skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Botafogo AP defense, Shawn Banks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilmar de Mendonça. The Botafogo AP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilmar de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. With his leg Gilmar de Mendonça managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Heavenly Hooters's Harold Lloyd fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Heavenly Hooters fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Heavenly Hooters's Harold Lloyd looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64th match minute, Heavenly Hooters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shawn Banks to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Shawn Banks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heavenly Hooters's supporters rose to their feet, but Shawn Banks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilmar de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Ethan Zamora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ethan Zamora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Gilmar de Mendonça made a huge save. With a little luck, Botafogo AP's Gilmar de Mendonça got control of the ball when Shawn Banks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilmar de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shawn Banks went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Gilmar de Mendonça was a little too slow when Harold Lloyd got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-12. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Douglas Fairbanks replaced Gus Fountain. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Kieran Denham replaced Harold Lloyd. Kieran Denham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gilmar de Mendonça made a huge save. Gilmar de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kieran Denham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute of the match, Ethan Zamora got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gilmar de Mendonça was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Heavenly Hooters played a much better game than Botafogo AP and deserved their victory. The Botafogo AP players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
